Egger OSB
Egger OSBs are predominantly intended for the producers of wood-framed buildings and they are suitable also for other application in civil engineering.
They are bonded on the PU base without formaldehyde (E1< 0.03 ppm) in accordance with the AUB environmental declaration.
The scope of Egger OSB application
Egger OSBs are used in wood-framed buildings, superstructures of prefab and bricked houses, sandwich wall and roof panels, the auxiliary material for the classical structures (floors, partition walls, cladding, ceilings), under any type of roofing, woodwork structures, carrying structures, promotional area, billboards, panelling and building heat insulation, etc.
The main Egger OSB benefits
High tensile strength when bending (ca 2 x higher in the longitudinal axis of the board), wall strength, material resilience, resistance against humidity impact, stabilised internal humidity, bilaterally closed surfaces and the uniform appearance, without the internal defects, cracks, knots, low material weight (580 - 640 kg/m3), very low contents of free and bound formaldehyde, excellent thermal resistance (95-97% of wood mass), good fire resistance, the possibility of large formate production, resistance against dynamic load, the possibility of board bending for formwork structures, quality surface, very good jointing using the classical jointing means (nails, screws, clamps, etc.), the possibility of jointing with nails 1 cm from the board edge already, excellent workability using the common tools, solid glued joints, the possibility of quality surface treatment by staining and lacquering, waxing, impregnation, painting, papering, etc.
